Joe and Pam Cooper began their ministry with Gardenside Christian Church during September, 2000. They have enjoyed being back in Kentucky. They are both natives of the Bluegrass State. Pam grew up in Lexington and graduated from Lafayette High School. Joe is a native of Lincoln County and matriculated at McKinney High School.
The Coopers are very proud of their two children. Tim is a graduate of Florida Christian College and is currently the Youth Minister at the Victory Christian Church in Lancaster, KY. Becky is a graduate of Lafayette High School and is a student at the University of Kentucky.Joe and Pam have been involved with three long and fruitful ministries before coming to Gardenside. The first was with the Tabernacle Christian Church near Columbia, KY. Joe preached there while a student in college for three years and then went there full-time after graduation. The total time there was over eight years. They spent almost ten years with the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Bedford, IN and completed an eleven and one half year ministry with First Christian Church of Orlando, FL before coming to Gardenside.Joe received his BA degree from Johnson Bible College in 1974. He then earned the MA degree from Cincinnati Bible Seminary in 1985.
The Coopers are happy to be at Gardenside Christian Church. God is working within the church. Some great days are ahead.
