Rob grew up outside of a small town called Finley Indiana. Born of Dale and Sandy Walker, and brother to one sister Christina Walker, he accepted Christ during High School, after coming to the realization that Christ was coming back to redeem his people. Rob was immersed in baptism on March 18, 1999 at Coker Creek Christian Camp TN. From this point on he grew in involvement in his local Campus Ministry, where he developed in Christ and gave his life to Christian service. Later he was called for many years to serve the students at the Campus House at Purdue University. During that time he met Shannyn Finch whom he would later call his wife and helper. After a 3 year courtship they were married on Feb. 1, 2003 and were called to Lexington KY. Upon his arrival he served a rotation of one year on the Staff of the Christian Student Fellowship at the University of Kentucky. After completion of that year he was asked to come to Athens, KY and serve as their Assoc. Minister and later Sr. Minister. Presently he is completing a Masters of New Testament in Preaching at Johnson Bible College. Rob and Shannyn have been married for four years and have been blessed with a child. His name is Samuel.
