Our Beliefs

Gardenside Christian Church exists to be a physical extension of Jesus Christ in our community by providing a Church environment consistent with New Testament practices and principles. To this end, it is our aim to win the lost, to meet the spiritual, emotional, and social needs of all ages; as well as to nourish believers, encouraging them to use their spiritual gifts for service in the building of God's Kingdom.

• Bible: (2 Timothy 3:16)
  We believe the Bible is God's Word, true and relevant in all it says.
  
  
• God: (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 90:2)
  We believe there is one God, eternally existing and expressed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  
  
• Jesus Christ: (John 1:1-5; Acts 4:12)
  We believe Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior of the world.
  
  
• Holy Spirit: (John 14:16-17)
  We believe the Holy Spirit works to convict, encourage, and guide the believer in a saving, eternal relationship with God.
  
  
• Salvation: (2 Peter 3:9; Acts 2:38)
  We believe salvation is by the grace of God through faith by confessing our need for God, turning away from disobedience, being baptized into Jesus Christ, and following Christ through the Holy Spirit.
